Sixties for highs run the balance of the week, much colder by Sunday

Mild and dry conditions can be expected for most of this week. High temps will trend upward, and reach well into the 60s across the Tennessee Valley by mid week. The next chance of widespread rain arrives on Thursday night.

LAFOLLETTE, TN (WLAF)- The first Monday of the new year brings sun, 60s and breezes. It’ll be up to 61-degrees today before a low of 44 tonight.

Unseasonably warm conditions are expected this week. Temperatures will climb to around 20 degrees above average.

The best chance of rainfall will be late Thursday through Saturday morning. Much needed rainfall is possible.
