Helen M. Smith, age 78, of Jacksboro passed away Tuesday, April 2, 2024. She was of the Baptist Faith. Preceded in death by husband: James Marion (Fireball) Smith, daughter: Missi Poston, parents: Bill and Martha Pierce Clause, sister: Hazel McGhee, Dorothy Combs, brother: Billy Earl Clause, Archie Clause

Survivors:

Sons: Michael and Helena Smith, Preston and Shawna Smith, Matthew and Leah Smith.

Grandchildren: Austin Smith, Mattie, and Natalie Smith

Sister: Ruth Orick, Sarah Collingsworth

Several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.

Their two little kitty cats: Stumpy and Blue

Family will receive friends 5-7 Thursday, April 4 at Cross-Smith Funeral Home with funeral service to follow at 7 PM Cross-Smith Chapel, Rev. Danny Orick, Jr. officiating. Family and friends will meet 10 AM Friday, April 5, at Cross-Smith Funeral Home and proceed to Powell Valley Cemetery for 11 AM Interment service
