Heavy rainfall expected, flash flooding concerns this afternoon

Partly sunny, muggy and 84 for Thursday with the threat of afternoon showers and storms

LAFOLLETTE, TN (WLAF)- Thunderstorms will develop this afternoon with locally heavy rain, frequent lightning, and gusty winds. Expect near average temperatures with additional afternoon showers and thunderstorms. The main concern will be isolated flash flooding if any stronger storms track over soils saturated from previous days convection.
