Meet Greta at the Campbell County Animal Shelter

Greta

JACKSBORO, TN (WLAF)- Greta is a true treasure just like a freshwater pearl found in the Tennessee rivers. She is a shockingly beautiful puppy that makes you do a double take when you shuck open the doors of the Campbell County Animal Shelter. Greta is a German shepherd puppy approximately nine months old and was literally rescued from breaking into a store because she was hungry. Thankfully our Campbell County Animal Control Officer rescued her and brought her to her temporary quarters where she is being fed some delicious food and fresh water daily.

Greta has a gorgeous shepherd coat of black and tan. She is a long and lean lady who has a sweet personality. Greta is a puppy who has lots of energy and loves to give but also tires out and is happy to sit and relax.

The shepherd breed is excellent for families and companionship but does require exercise to keep her stimulated and to keep her from gaining too much weight. Greta is the glimmering white rounded treasure that you will cherish forever so come in and meet this beauty and be prepared to fall in love. Greta will be a perfect addition to your family jewelry collection.

The adoption center, animal shelter, is open Tuesday – Saturday, noon – 5:30pm, at 749 Towe String Road, Jacksboro, next to the convenience center. The center’s telephone number is 423-566-8018.

You can view all of the adoptable pets on Petfinder. Adoption applications can also be completed online.  (WLAF NEWS PUBLISHED – 12/09/2024-6AM)

  1. Why don’t our shelter ever show the cats and kittens up for adoption as well. It’s always just the dogs they put on here. You would think cats n kittens would be included each week
