Greeneview Farms Market adds hand dipped ice cream

LAFOLLETTE, TN. (WLAF)- Greeneview Farms Market is now serving hand dipped ice cream.

The fresh, small, batched ice cream comes from Gabby’s Gourmet Ice Cream, a family owned business in Athens.

In partnership with the ice cream producers, Greeneview will have flavors made exclusively for them. Those flavors are carmel cheesecake, banana cream pie and honey vanilla made with the locally sourced Blue Dog Honey.

Other flavors available include cookies n’ some cream, strawberry, peanut butter cup and salted carmel praline.

The Greene Family, who owns the market, is a fixture in the Campbell County Farming Community.

The store sells beef raised on the family farm in LaFollette and local produce, when seasonally available.

Owning a business that served the community was a central idea behind the store. However, running the store as a family is what put the heart in it.
