Grand jury indicts on forgery

Woman accused of stealing another woman’s identity

CAMPBELL COUNTY, TN. (WLAF)- Melissa Kincaid has been indicted by the Campbell County Grand Jury. She faces one count each of forgery, criminal impersonation and failure to use due care.

Kincaid, 50, Harrogate, is accused of stealing another woman’s identity and attempting to forge her signature, according to court records. She was also charged with driving in a reckless manner. Her alleged crimes occurred in October 2023, court records said.

She is scheduled to be arraigned in criminal court in December. (WLAF NEWS PUBLISHED 11/26/2025-6AM)
