Grace Grant, age 89, of Caryville passed away Monday, November 4, 2024. She was a member of Mount Paran Baptist Church. Preceded in death by Husbands: Father of children Paul Newport and A.C. Grant, Daughter: Debbie Newport Cox, Brother: Alfred Bud Bowling, Sister: Mabel Silcox, Parents: Dillard and Lydia Ward Bowling, Grandparents who raised her: Alf and Sabra Ward.

Son: Eddie Newport

Daughters: Darlene Coleman, Nina Wellmann

Grandchildren: Denise, Debbie, Angie, Greg, Christopher and Eddie (Littleman)

Several nieces and nephews and a host of family and friends

Family will receive friends 5-7 PM Thursday, November 7, 2024 at Cross-Smith Funeral Home with funeral service to follow at 7 PM in Cross-Smith Chapel, Rev. Wade Walls officiating. Family and friends will meet 10 AM Friday at Cross-Smith Funeral Home and proceed to Powell Valley Cemetery for 11 AM Interment.
