The governor is scheduled to visit Norris Dam State Park, meet with Mayor Lynch

CAMPBELL COUNTY, TN (SPECIAL TO WLAF)- In 2026, Tennessee is celebrating America’s 250th anniversary by hosting a year-long, statewide celebration.  The celebration highlights the state’s unique contribution to American history; America 250.  Governor Bill Lee is in the region today making several America 250 stops.

At 12:15pm, the governor will visit RM Brooks General Store at Robbins (Scott County) followed by a tour of Norris Dam State Park (Campbell-Anderson Counties) at 2:45pm.  Campbell County Mayor Jack Lynch is expected to meet with the governor during the Norris Dam tour.

  1. Didn’t see anywhere he was going to visit campbell county, only Norris Dam state park, there’s only a little roadway that is campbell county on the wY to Norris and a ride through to Scott Co. County, wow that’s a big deal for campbell county
