Gia is this week’s “Pet of the Week”

JACKSBORO, TN (WLAF)- Meet Gia. This tiny cupcake is a dark chocolate dessert full of sugary sweetness. This little angel has splashes of white icing on her paws chest and face. She even has a little dollop of pink icing on her sweet nose. This delicious treat is made up of various ingredients of love, kindness, intelligence, humor, goodness and energy.

Gia is three months old and weighs 24 pounds. She is a Labrador mix with maybe a splash of Whippet. She is ready for her first family that will teach her all the basic commands of sit, stay, shake and how to walk on a leash. She needs an owner who will provide tremendous patience so she can learn to be potty trained because she has always been at the shelter.

Gia will need some time to adapt and adjust but the reward will be full of candied companionship for life. She wants to be held and be with a family that will help her explore the world and not be afraid. She is a baby girl who has an open heart. Gia is the perfect addition to an active family that has time to build her confidence and calmly show her the necessary life lessons to be a fabulous dog. Gia would love to be a part of your life and to go with her family whenever they venture out for the day. So come in and meet this iconic cupcake and be prepared to fall in love.
