Gerald Edward “Jerry” Phillips, age 84, departed this life on Friday May 3, 2024. He was born on September 1, 1939 to the late Lowell and Mary Oniel Phillips. Gerry loved CB radios, ham radios, fishing, but most of all he enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.

In addition to his parents, Jerry is preceded in death by his wife, Rita Faye Phillips; brothers, Robert Krumweide and John Krumweide.

He is survived by his sons; Sam Phillips and wife Deborah of Jacksboro, Larry Phillips and wife Darlene of Jacksboro; daughter, Kim Boshears of LaFollette; brothers, Larry Krumweide, Jimmy Krumweide, Jeff Krumweide, Tim Krumweide, and Lynn Phillips; sisters, Valerie Richardson, Pat Liberati, Linda Myers, Robin Gnizak, Marian Celebrezze, and Janice Rutherford; 7 grandchildren; and 16 great grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.

A graveside service will be held on Monday May 6, 2024 at 1 PM at New Vasper Cemetery in Caryville with Rev. Jerry Foust officiating.
