Gas prices jump by a dime on Monday

Experts expect more increases at the pump

LAFOLLETTE, TN (WLAF)- The price of gasoline, regular unleaded, increased by a dime on Monday here in La Follette. The price went from $2.29 a gallon to $2.39.

So far in 2026, the year opened at $2.22 a gallon and then went to $2.21 on January 6 and to $2.29 on February 12.

Last March 3, we were paying $2.44 a gallon. Ten years ago, the lowest price in Campbell County was $1.57 a gallon on March 3, 2016.
