Gary Ray Lindsay, age 79, of Jacksboro passed away on Monday, August 12, 2024, surrounded by family. He was a member of Indian Creek Baptist Church, retired from Y-12 as a Security Guard after 32 years, then worked as a bailiff and funeral escort in Campbell County. He was a United States Army Veteran. Preceded in death by Son: Jeffrey Lindsay, Parents: Austin and Amanda Ruth Spicer Lindsay and several brothers and sisters.

Daughter: Jamie Lindsay

Grandchildren: Tyler Loyd, Clay Lindsay, Kayla Gould, Lillian Lindsay

Great-Grandchildren: Meloney Loyd, Maddie Loyd, Lucas Gould and 2 more on the way

Sisters: Doris Banks, Carrie Lindsay

Family will receive friends 5-7 PM, Friday, August 16, 2024, at Cross-Smith Funeral Home with funeral service to follow at 7 PM in Cross-Smith Chapel, Rev. Bill Wilson and Rev. Jacob Hayes officiating. Family and friends will meet at 9:15 AM, Saturday, at Cross-Smith Funeral Home and proceed to Indian Creek Cemetery for 10 AM Interment with Military Honors given by Honor Guard of Campbell County.
