Colder air settles in as daytime highs hold in the 30s today, Saturday and Sunday

The wind keeps us shivering on Friday with wind chills in the teens.

LAFOLLETTE, TN (WLAF)- A couple of calm days of weather precede Sunday’s expected wintry precipitation. Highs hold in the 30s today, Saturday and Sunday ahead of a blast of Arctic air due to arrive on Wednesday.

Some folks will see a sprinkle of rain and/or snow flurries early Friday leading into a partly sunny day in the 30s (39). Friday night’s low chills to 19 under mostly clear skies.

Saturday does not make it out of the 30s with cold sunshine. Clouds thicken up Saturday night with a low of 22.

Sunday brings a high of 35 to go along with rain, snow, freezing rain and sleet. Expect rain Sunday night with a low of 34.
