KNOXVILLE, TN (WLAF) – “We have four players competing in this today,” said Justin Price, Head Coach of the Campbell Cougars. The 13th year head coach is talking about individual competitions his players are a part of in the Knoxville Classic 7-on-7 Tournament.

In the QB Challenge is Landen Hensley with Cougar Storm Webb in the bench press while Gavin Owens competes in the broad jump, and Timmy Gibson runs in the 40-yard dash.

Webb, a senior, came in third in the bench press. “He benched 185 pounds 23 times,” said Coach Price.

The event was sponsored and hosted by Dick’s Sporting Goods – House of Sport at its Knoxville location.

The Knoxville Classic 7-on-7 Tournament at Powell starts with pool play on Thursday and a double elimination tournament on Friday. Thursday’s scrimmage hours are from 5pm until 9pm with Campbell playing Oak Ridge, Hardin Valley Academy and Powell. (WLAF NEWS PUBLISHED – 07/12/2023-4PM-UPDATED 8PM)
