LAFOLLETTE, TN. (WLAF)- Beginning this Friday, June 21, and continuing for the next five months, the city will host live entertainment and food trucks at the downtown LaFollette stage on one Friday of each month. This series of events is being called, “Friday Frenzy,†and it will last from 5pm to 8pm on each day of the event.

The five month series of events will kick off with a performance by the band “Kitty Wampus,” known for their motto “It’s not just a band, it’s a party!” The group is out of Knoxville and they focus on the classic rock genre. More details about the band can be found here.
The City of LaFollette has put together an impressive line-up of musicians for the next five months. After this Friday, the next event will be on July 5 with Elijah Wise performing. On Sept. 2, Lawless Band will perform; on Sept. 6, Liquid Velvet will perform an exciting Journey / Fleetwood Mac Tribute. The series of events will wrap up on Oct. 4 with Tim Decker and the Tennessee River Band performing.
