
JACKSBORO, TN. (WLAF)- On Sept. 15, 2025 and Oct. 6, Eighth Judicial District Judge Zachary R. Walden sentenced the following offenders to Tennessee Department of Correction custody:
-Frank Wesley George, LaFollette, plead guilty to numerous drug, theft, and firearm offenses for a total of 19 years to be served in the Tennessee Department of Correction. These cases were investigated by the Campbell County Sheriff’s Office and prosecuted by Assistant District Attorney General Lindsey C. Cadle.
-Steven E. Mefford, Jellico, plead guilty to three counts possession of Methamphetamine over .5 grams with the intent to sell and deliver for a total of 10 years to be served in the custody of the Tennessee Department of Correction. The case was investigated by the Campbell County Sheriff’s Office and prosecuted by Assistant District Attorney General Blake A. Mullins.
-Danny Eugene Lancaster, Jellico, plead guilty to one count of possession of Methamphetamine over .5 grams with the intent to sell and was sentenced to nine years to be served in the custody of the Tennessee Department of Correction. The case was investigated by the Campbell County Sheriff’s Office and prosecuted by Assistant District Attorney General Tyler K. Hurst.
-Dewayne Mckinley Anderson Jr., Clinton, plead guilty to two counts of possession of Methamphetamine over .5 grams with the intent to sell and deliver, and two counts of possession of Fentanyl with the intent to sell and deliver and was sentenced to 10 years to be served in the Tennessee Department of Correction. The case was investigated by the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation and the Campbell County Sheriff’s Office and prosecuted by Assistant District Attorney General Lindsey C. Cadle.
-David Wayne Bennett Jr., Speedwell, plead guilty to two counts of possession of Methamphetamine over .5 grams with the intent to sell and deliver, one count of driving while in possession of Methamphetamine, driving while license is suspended, and possession of unlawful drug paraphernalia, and was sentenced to 10 years to be served in the custody of the Tennessee Department of Correction. The case was investigated by the Campbell County Sheriff’s Office and prosecuted by Assistant District Attorney General Andi L. Bridges.
