The Central Bobcats of Knoxville will visit Reynolds Field for a Region 3-AAAAA game

JACKSBORO, TN (WLAF)- It’s the fourth week of the high school football season, and the Campbell County Cougars are finally getting ready to play a home football game. “We’re excited about being at home. We’re excited to play in front of our home crowd, and we’re excited to hopefully play well for our community,” said Campbell Head Football Coach Taylor Ownbey.
Knoxville Central visits the Cougars for a 7pm game on Friday. WLAF has the live radio, television and internet coverage.
Watch Coach Ownbey’s pregame interview for the Central game HERE on demand from WLAF.
Central is 2 & 1 and has played a challenging schedule with a 26-20 home loss to Dobyns-Bennett to go along with a road win at Fulton, 48-13, followed by last week’s 29-21 home victory over Knoxville West. The Bobcats are 1 & 0 in the region.
For Campbell, the road has not been kind. The Cougars have fallen at Lenoir City, Rogersville and Karns and hold an 0 & 3 mark, 0 & 1 in Region 3-AAAAA.
Here is Campbell’s starting line-up for Central.
