Ferris Hobart Dagley Jr. age 83 of Knoxville departed this life on Thursday, February 27, 2025. He was born January 17, 1942, in LaFollette to the late Ferris Hobart Dagley Sr. and Ethel Lindsay Dagley. Ferris loved mowing yards, taking care of his family and never missed a chance to go out and eat. He was a United States Army Veteran who served his country proudly.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his 1st wife Joe Ann Dagley; his brother Jerry Dagley; his sisters Mary Fritz, Betty Hatmaker, Dot Roberts, Shirley Harper, Iva Pippen and Margaret Dagley.

Ferris is survived by his son Michael Dagley of Knoxville; his daughter Melissa Dagley and husband Patrick McGriff of Florida; his 2nd wife Vivian Dagley of Knoxville; and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives.

Visitation will be on Thursday, March 6th, 2025, at West Lonsdale Baptist Church at 2720 Dayton Street NW Knoxville, TN 37921 from 5:00 to 7:00 PM with his funeral service to follow at 7:00 PM with Rev. Jeff Roberts officiating. Family and friends will meet at 9:15 AM on Friday, March 7, 2025, at Martin Wilson Funeral Home and go in funeral procession to Pond Cemetery in LaFollette 10:00 AM interment with Rev. Bo Freeman officiating. Military honors will be presented by the Campbell County Honor Guard.
