HARRIMAN, TN (WLAF)- It was a fabulous February for Campbell County High School band students, with high scores at multiple competitions, as well as specialty performances by some students in regional honor bands.

Campbell County High School’s Winter Guard did so well in the first two competitions, they were moved up a class for this past weekend’s competition in Harriman.

“This year our winter guard has competed in two competitions! After receiving 1st places at the first two competitions, they got bumped up a class due to their scores being so high,” said CCHS band director Tiffany Braden.

After that bump up in class, they competed at Roane State in Harriman this past weekend and received 5th place.

‘It’s an awesome thing to move up a class, but the competition is a bit steeper. The girls are working hard to continue improving their scores! Mrs. Christy has put in a ton of work the past two years to give these girls the opportunity to shine, and we are so grateful,” Braden said.

The CCHS Winter Guard will compete again on March 14th. (WLAF NEWS PUBLISHED-03/03/2026-6AM)
