Three incidents almost simultaneously; I-75 totally shutdown at one point
CARYVILLE, TN (WLAF) – A busy morning turned into a busy afternoon for firefighters with the Caryville Volunteer Fire Department and a couple of other agencies.

This was a non-injury vehicle fire at the 143 Mile Marker northbound on I-75.

A second vehicle fire, non-injury, happened at Mile Marker 141.8 on the southbound side of the interstate.

On top of all that, there was a third accident. This one happened on Loop Road at Caryville where a female had to be extricated and was taken to the La Follette Medical Center.
The Jacksboro Fire Department assisted on the second fire and wreck while the Campbell Sheriff’s Office responded along with the Campbell Emergency Management Agency and the Tennessee Highway Patrol on the vehicle fires.
