Emma Sue Wallace Rutherford age 63 of LaFollette, passed away on Monday, February 19, 2024. She was born on June 4, 1960, to the late Roy Wallace and Fleda “Willoughby” Wallace. Emma enjoyed sewing, camping, fishing, and spending time with her family and friends.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her son John Paul Rutherford; brothers Troy Wallace, Roylee Wallace, and Alvin Wallace; and her sister Lula Mae Overbey.

Emma is survived by her granddaughter Leslie Rutherford; sisters Carolyn Weaver Lindsey and Mildred Carr; Brothers Gene Wallace, Lawerence Wallace, Maynard Wallace, and Mitchell Wallace; special friend Kenny Henson; several nieces and nephews; and a host of other relatives and friends.

The family will receive friends in the chapel of Martin Wilson Funeral Home at 305 E. Beech Street in LaFollette on Saturday February 24, 2024 from 12 PM to 1 PM with funeral service to follow at 1 PM with Rev. David Brewster officiating. Interment to follow at Peabody Cemetery.
