Elijah Lin “Eli†Ayers age 16 of LaFollette, a young man full of life and a smile that would brighten your day, was brought into the presence of his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Saturday, November 23, 2024. Eli was a member of Stinking Creek Baptist Church. He loved to hunt and fish. Eli’s love for basketball was unmatched as he was a former basketball player at Wynn Elementary/Middle School and Campbell County High School, where he was a sophomore. He loved working at Hollingsworth Grocery where he enjoyed meeting everyone that came and left the store. Eli was the best little brother and big brother anyone could ask for.
Eli is survived by his “Mom and Dad†Hannah and Andrew White; his little brother Emmett White and little sisters Emma Ayers and Ellie Jo White; his grandparents Chris and Michelle Ayers and Regina White; his great grandparents Joyce and Robin Wright; his biological mother Lisa Marlow and his very special friend Winston Elkins. Eli had so many friends that he loved and left an impression on them.
Visitation for Eli will be on Friday, November 29th, 2024, at the Cedar Hill Baptist Church from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM with the funeral service to follow at 6:00 PM with Rev. Lynn Ray and Rev. Troy Arnold officiating. Family and friends will meet on Saturday, November 30th at Martin Wilson Funeral Home at 10:00 AM to go to the funeral procession to Melvin Cemetery for an 11:00 AM interment.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks for memorial contributions to be made in honor of the “Eli Ayers Memorial Fund”.

Such a tremendous loss of a fellow student of the CCHS family. He was truly one that was a pleasure to have in class. May he rest easy now in the arms of Lord.
