Edwin Hugh Marburger age 86 LaFollette, went home to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Tuesday, October 29, 2024. He was born on January 22, 1938. Edwin was a great father and grandfather and a member of LaFollette Church of Christ. He was a retired Navy Vietnam Veteran of 20 years and worked with Prater Chevrolet where he retired in LaFollette, TN. He loved to garden, go camping, walking with his dog “Tucker”, and working with his church.

He is preceded in death by his loving wife Mary Sue Marburger and his parents E.H. and Hazel Marburger.

Edwin leaves behind his daughter Alice and husband Darwin Tinch; stepchildren Charles Alldrege and wife Gloria of California, Trudy Miller of LaFollette; adopted son Joshua Marburger of LaFollette; grandchildren Christian Tinch and Fredrickia Miller of LaFollette, Danielle Alldrege and husband Jordan from Norfolk, VA, and Gabriel Alldrege and husband Gil of California; several great grandchildren; sisters Joy Nelson from New Mexico and Maxine Thornton of Texas; and several nieces and nephews.

Military honors will be given by the Campbell County Honor Guard at 5:00 PM on Friday, November 1, 2024, at Martin Wilson Funeral Home. Visitation will follow till 7:00 PM with the funeral service to follow with Preacher Ben Shafer presiding.

In lieu of flowers, the request of the family is to donate to the VA Veterans of Campbell County or LaFollette Church of Christ.
