Eddie Bruce age 82 of LaFollette

Eddie Bruce age 82 of LaFollette, passed away on Monday, March 23, 2026. He was born on November 16, 1943, to the late Tom and Evelyn Pyles Bruce. Eddie was a member of Macedonia Baptist Church. He loved playing golf, fishing, turkey shoots, and going on road trips, but his greatest joy was spending time with his family, especially his children and grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother Peanut Bruce and his sister Cheryl Burris.

Eddie is survived by his wife of 61 years Mona Bruce; son Greg and Teresa Bruce; daughters Pam and Bo Carter, Tammy Vann, and Suzanne Bunch; grandkids Gregory (Alisha) Bruce, Rebekah (Matt) Wasson, Josh (Brittany) Vann, Heather Carter, Jonathon (Britney) Bruce, Whitney (Brachel) Bunch, Ashley (Tim) Bush ; great-grandkids Coltyn Wasson, Emma Bruce, Ben Bruce, Parker Wasson and Nash Williams; siblings Tommi Witthorn, Danny Bruce, Johnny Bruce, and Glenna Ball; special brother Clarence Hatfield; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be from 12:00-2:00 PM on Sunday, March 29, 2026, in the chapel of Martin Wilson Funeral Home with the funeral service to follow at 2:00 PM with Bro. Jonathon Bruce officiating. Interment to follow funeral service at Campbell Memorial Gardens.
