Dustin Trent Jenkins, II, age 18 of Speedwell, TN passed away Thursday, August 22, 2024. He was a Member of Shipley Grove Mountain Assembly Church of God. Trent was a graduate of Cumberland Gap High School, Class of 2024. He enjoyed playing basketball, fishing, and hanging out with friends. Trent loved being with his family, and was always smiling and making everyone else smile. Trent always wanted to help others, even when he didn’t have anything himself. “To know Trent was to love Trent.” Precded in death by Grandparents, Hershel and Virgie Powers, Arnold and Nadine Jenkins, and Anna Bounds, several Aunts and Uncles. 

Survivors: Parents, Richard and Alice Jenkins; Biological Parents, Dustin Jenkins and Nancy Hurst; Sisters, Alexis Jenkins and Fiance’, Jacob Shown, and Mariah Jenkins; Aunt, Brittany Bolton; Nephew, Westyn Shown; Special Cousins, Elijah, Hanley, and Brianna. Several other Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, and many Friends. 

The family will receive friends on Sunday, August 25, 2024 from 4:00 – 7:00 P.M. at Walters Funeral Home Chapel, with funeral services to follow at 7:00 P.M. with Rev. Rick Braden and Rev. Marty Saylor. Family and Friends will meet Monday, August 26, 2024, 10:00 A.M. at Walters Funeral Home and proceed to Guy Cemetery for an 11:00 A.M. Graveside Services and Interment.
