Dorothy Rucker Sharp, age 90 of Caryville

Dorothy Rucker Sharp, age 90 of Caryville, passed away Tuesday April 7, 2026. Dorothy was of the Baptist faith. She was preceded in death by husband Roscoe Sharp, daughter, Carolyn Sharp Nichols, Parents, Lee and Mae Harmon Rucker, brothers, Calvin, Lee Jr, and John Rucker, son-in-law Dennis Nichols, and brother-in-law Johnny Asbury.

She is survived by:

Daughter: Delores Sharp Luti and husband George

Grandchildren: Holly Nichols, James Nichols, and Madison Nichols

Several Great Grandchildren

Brother: J.T. Rucker

Sister: Betty Lou Asbury

Several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.

Family will receive friends 11 AM – 1 PM Saturday April 11 at Cross-Smith Funeral Home with service to follow at 1PM in Cross-Smith Chapel. Interment to follow at Campbell Memorial Gardens.
