Dora Jane Shepherd, age 90, a lifelong resident of LaFollette, passed away on Monday, March 16, 2026. She was a member of Alder Springs Baptist Church. Preceded in death by husband: Glenn Shepherd, parents: Lynch and Pernie Barlow Adams, brothers: James, Troy, George, Roy Adams, sisters: Josie, Marie, Elsie and Elizabeth

Sons: Marvin and wife Edie Shepherd, Glenn Edward Jr. Shepherd.

Grandchildren: Daniel and wife Samantha and John Glenn Shepherd

Great-Grandchildren: Emma, Seth, Shogun, Kayda, Kavan

The family will receive friends from 5-7 PM Monday, March 23, 2026, at Cross-Smith Funeral Home with Funeral Service following at 7 PM in Cross-Smith Chapel. Family and friends will meet at 10 AM Tuesday at Cross-Smith Funeral Home and proceed to Shelby Cemetery for 11 AM Interment.
