Donna Jean Violet, age 65, formerly of LaFollette passed away on January 1, 2026, at her home in Orlando, Florida. She loved cooking, her family, and spending time outdoors.  

Preceded in death by husband Dean Violet, parents Don and Vida Lester, grandparents Hugh and June Hollifield and William and Nell Lester

Survived by daughter Angela Howell and husband Ron

Son Kevin Violet

Sisters Rhonda Morris, Edwina Jordan and Tracey Sharp

Loving sisters-in-law, several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.

Family will receive friends 2-3 PM Sunday, January 18, 2026 with service to follow at Cross-Smith Chapel. Interment Mount Paran Cemetery.
