Donald “Tom Duck” Brown, age 66 went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday July 30, 2024. He was a member of High Knob Baptist Church; he loved his family very much. Tom enjoyed hunting, fishing, working on boats, and helping others. He was a fan of all sports, especially the UT Volunteers and the Atlanta Braves.

Tom is preceded in death by his father, Jackie Norman; and sister, Kim Partin.

He is survived by his wife, Sherry Brown of Jacksboro; mother, Ruby Norman of LaFollette; sons, Haidyn Brown of Jacksboro, and Thomas Byrge and wife Kellie of Knoxville; daughters, Amanda Brown and Bryan of Knoxville, and Dana Byrge and Kara of Knoxville; brother, Larry Norman and wife Pam of Jacksboro; grandchildren, Dawson, Conner, and Scarlett; great grandchild, Elijah, and a host of other relatives and friends.

The family will receive friends on Friday August 2, 2024 from 5 PM to 8 PM in the chapel of Martin Wilson Funeral Home at 305 E. Beech Street LaFollette. Funeral service to follow at 8 PM with Rev. Dewayne Bryd and Bro. J.B. Monday officiating. Family and friends will meet at the funeral home on Saturday August 3, 2024 at 11:15 AM to go in funeral procession to Bakers Forge Cemetery for an 12 PM interment.
