Preliminary site plan due out in a few weeks

LAFOLLETTE, TN (WLAF)- Work has recently been going on on the former Hollingsworth property along the four lane. The land sits between Doyle’s Tire Shop and Cumberland Crossing BP.

More trees were felled on Wednesday.

The land where the Hollingsworth home once sat has been cleared making way for a new structure. “It’s the proposed site for the Department of Human Services, currently inside Woodson’s Mall,” said Stan Foust, City Administrator for La Follette.

Work began earlier this month.
