Thursday on the campus of the University of Tennessee

The award was presented to State Representative Dennis Powers, left, by Michael Curcio, a former state representative, who now works with TEBA, the Tennessee Employee Benefits Alliance. 

KNOXVILLE, TN (SPECIAL TO WLAF)- On Thursday at the University of Tennessee, State Representative Dennis Powers was awarded the 2025 Champion of Business Award honoring “remarkable contribution to business excellence in Tennessee.”

Powers stated, “It is in a honor to receive this prestigious award, and I will always be committed to promoting economic development and business in my district and the state of Tennessee.”
