Deborah Sue Lane Carroll, age 68, of Pioneer passed away on Monday, January 5, 2026. She was a member of Straight Fork Baptist Church. Preceded in death by Mother: Betty Goodman, sister: Etta Meadows Ford, grandson: Connor Lane, grandparents: Fair and Ida Robbins.

Husband: Randy Carroll

Sons: Jamie Lane, Curtis Lane, Jody Lane, Dylan Lane

Grandchildren: Jake, Sydney and Lim Lane, Emily Christian

2 Great-grandchildren

Brothers: Gregory Meadows, Elvis Meadows

Sisters: Kay King, Gwen Meadows

Several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends

Family will receive friends 12-2 PM Friday, January 9, 2026 at Cross-Smith Funeral Home with funeral service at 2 PM in Cross-Smith Chapel, Rev. Caden Poston officiating. Following the service, family and friends will go in funeral procession to Bakers Forge Cemetery.
