Everyone took their turn to get a photo with Donnie Davis.
LAFOLLETTE, TN (WLAF) – Members of law enforcement, fire, ambulance and family squeezed into the Central Dispatch headquarters of the 911 Center on Highway 25W on Monday afternoon to celebrate dispatcher Donnie Davis.
HERE is a related story on the career of Donnie Davis.

Donnie Davis began his career at the 911 Center in December of 1996.
If there was ever a doubt of just the kind of job Davis did all these years behind the emergency mic and just the kind of person he is, there’s not now. The outpouring show of support and appreciation was most impressive and very touching.

Several members of Donnie Davis’ family joined the celebration.
Donnie, from all of us here at WLAF, we say thank you for always being so helpful, kind and professional every time we ever called on you. Best to you!

Donnie Davis, in the cap, devoted 47 years to the Campbell County Rural Fire Service and the La Follette Rescue Squad.

Donnie Davis signs off the 911 airwaves later today.
