Mr. David Draughn, age 56 of LaFollette passed away Thursday, June 20, 2024. He was a member of Lakeview Baptist Church and was employed with Mike Kilby Trucking, where he was a very hard worker and loved his career as a long distance truck driver. David had a heart of gold and was very much a family man. He deeply loved his son, grandchildren, and his family very much. David also enjoyed video games, all sports, and attending truck shows. He is preceded in death by Parents, Elwood and Lucille Evans Draughn, Brother, Timothy Wayne Draughn, Nephew, Johnny Chapman; Grandparents, Earl and Ollie Evans, and Harvey and Arletta Draughn. 

Survivors: Son, Michael Draughn and wife, Hillary; Grandchildren, Alika and Zalen Draughn; Brothers, Brian Draughn and wife, Patricia (Pepper), and Daniel Draughn and wife, Kris; Sisters, Tammy Cox and husband, Troy, and Linda Smith and husband, Jackie. Several Nieces, Nephews, Great Nieces, Great Nephews, Cousins, and other relatives and friends. 

The family will receive friends on Monday, June 24, 2024 from 6:00 – 8:00 P.M. at Walters Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral Services will follow at 8:00 P.M. Family and friends will meet Tuesday, June 25, 2024, 9:30 A.M. at Walters Funeral Home and proceed to Evans Cemetery for 10:00 A.M. graveside services and interment with Pastor Charlie Craig officiating.
