Campbell soccer team defeats Cosby 9-1 on Senior Night

JACKSBORO, TN (WLAF) – Your Campbell High soccer team welcomed the Cosby Eagles to town for senior night on Thursday. The evening began with the recognition of the lone Cougar senior, first year soccer player Kelvin Cruz.

Cruz would have the best game of his young career. He would score the first three goals of the match. This feat was made all the more impressive in knowing that these were his first goals of the season.

It was a stellar offensive night from not only Cruz, but the entire Cougar squad.

Also scoring were Pete Sagulurukpukdee, Eli Davis, Kainoa Morton, Matthew Tackett, Nathan Massengill, and Jorge Pañeda.

Campbell finished its regular season with the 9-1 victory over Cosby. The Cougars ended the year with a 4 -12-1 record. That one tie came against Northview Academy on April 25th.
