Liberty Park was home to the 1965 La Follette Little League State Champions

LAFOLLETTE, TN (WLAF)- Though more cold weather is predicted for mid-March, Thursday’s sunshine and 70s fueled spring fever all over Campbell County. The City of La Follette Parks and Recreation Department grounds crew, with an extra pep in their step, spent yesterday getting ready for baseball season. “Our staff is excited for the new season and so are the youngsters. We even have a league for three-year olds,” said Chris Smith, Director of Parks and Recreation for the City of La Follette.
