County Planning commission approves minor lot subdivisions

JACKSBORO, TN (WLAF)- The Campbell County Regional planning commission met Monday evening, approving several minor lot subdivisions and a major lot subdivision. It was also approved to give authority to the county planner to administratively approve 1-lot subdivisions, as long as they have all the signatures.”

First approved was a major lot subdivision for Willie Chadwell on Stone Mill Road.

Next approved was a minor lot subdivision for Paul Osborne on Cara Lane. 

Planning commission members also approved a minor lot subdivision for Jordan and Brittany Phillips on Wolf Hollow Lane.

A minor lot subdivision was approved for Linda Mercer on Hardwood Circle/Twins Cove Circle. 

A minor lot subdivision was approved for Jeffrey Shipley on Oak Grove Road.

Also approved was a minor lot subdivision for Prime Capital Investments on Gail Lane. 

Planning commission members tabled the last minor lot subdivision.

“This one was tabled because they need to show the septic drain field on the lot,” according to county planner Jordan Rockwell. It will be brought back up at next month’s meeting.

The planning commission also voted to give the county planner the “authority to administratively approve 1-lot subdivisions, so long as they have all the signatures.”

Any plats that are administratively approved will then be on the next agenda for the Planning Commission to approve as a line item. (WLAF NEWS PUBLISHED-06/03/2026-6AM)
