Wlaf1450Saturday marks the fifth game in nine days for Campbell and Scott

JACKSBORO, TN (WLAF)- More than two months ago, Campbell and Scott met up on Brown Court. A lot has changed for all four teams since those Dec. 2 meetings. Valentine’s afternoon marks the final games of the regular season when the Highlanders host the Cougars tomorrow.
On that long ago Tuesday night in December, Campbell won the girls game, 57-49, while the Highlanders nipped Campbell 53-50 in the boys match-up.
The Lady Cougars are 12 & 9, and the Cougars are 5 & 19. Scott makes the hour and a half trip Friday night to Monterey to take on the Wildcats before hosting Campbell on Saturday. The Lady Highlanders are 9 & 15 while the Highlanders are 15 & 11.
It will be a varsity affair only at Huntsville with Scott on Valentine’s Day as the Lady Cougars game begins at 4pm with the Cougars game to follow at 5:30pm.
The District 3-AAAA Tournament will be played at Halls. The Cougars first game is Wed., Feb. 18, and the Lady Cougars first game is Thu., Feb 19. Both of these first round games tip off at 7:30pm, and WLAF will send you the live broadcast. The bracket, dates and times will be released in a few days.
On Thursday, Knoxville Central swept the Cougars, 72-61, and Lady Cougars, 63-56, at Brown Gym for the final regular season home games.
