Cougar Tennis remains unbeaten, Anderson is latest victim

Campbell County dominated the Mavericks at Jaycee Park

CLINTON, TN (WLAF)- Clinton, Oak Ridge and now Anderson have all fallen prey to the Campbell Cougars. Cougar Tennis has successfully whipped all Anderson County Tennis teams to improve to 4 & 0. Next up, it’s on to Karns on March 25 for Coach Rusty Fields Cougars and Lady Cougars.

Will Croley, David Marcosano, Hunter Dotson, Jack Stooksbury and Braxton Fox claimed impressive singles wins. Stooksbury and Fox recorded a doubles win as Campbell defeated Anderson 6 to 3.

Coming away with singles wins for the Lady Cougars were Jade Higdon, Danni Hammac and Meret Grueter. Anderson held on for a 6-3 win.
