Cora Branam Meadows Phillips, of LaFollette

Cora Branam Meadows Phillips, born May 30, 1966, of LaFollette, TN, passed away on Sunday, November 23rd, surrounded by her loving family. Known for her warm heart and generous spirit, Cora loved with her whole heart, especially her family, her sewing group, and her dogs. Cora was preceded in death by her parents, Roe and Roberta Branam, and her children, Connie Meadows and Christopher Meadows.

She is survived by

Her children, Carl Meadows (Samantha), Reece VanDoren (Trevor), Candy Briner (Mike), and Cynthia Holley (Shaun)

Fourteen grandchildren and five great-grandchildren

Her siblings, Dean Jones (Donnie) and Robert Green; and her special friend, Regina Branam.

She also leaves behind her nieces and nephews, Sheriva Campbell (John) and Donna Jones (Ben Abban), along with many other extended family members who will cherish her memory.

Cora will be remembered for the love she gave in the ways she knew best, her warmth, and her devotion to the people and things that mattered most to her. She brought laughter, creativity, and care into the lives of her family and friends, and her memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew her.

Family will receive friends 12-2 PM Friday, November 28, 2025 at Cross-Smith Funeral Home with funeral service at 2 PM in Cross-Smith Chapel, Rev. Jeffery Green officiating. Interment to follow at Hall Cemetery in Stinking Creek.
