The East Tennessee Collaborative program is open to those who are unemployed or underemployed with low income, such as those on government assistance.

You may be eligible if you have a child 18 or younger in your home; are a U.S. citizen and a Tennessee resident, are on government assistance. And are interested in pursuing financial independence.

The program will partner you with a mentor to help you make plans to achieve your own financial well-being.

This project is funded under a grant contract with the state of Tennessee.

“I can help someone get a job, get a car, purchase a home and gain financial stability,” Cormier said.

She works in the Campbell County Pregnancy Center and said she has slots open for Campbell County participants in the program.
