JACKSBORO, TN (WLAF)- Campbell County commissioners discussed upcoming agenda items for next week, including a resolution in honor UT LIFESTAR, a proclamation for the Campbell County High School band, among other business items.

A resolution in honor of UT LIFESTAR’s 10 years in service in the county will be on the agenda for next week. Commissioner Rusty Orick said he wanted the commission to honor them.

“They’ve saved a million lives,” Orick said.

Also on next week’s agenda will be a proclamation to honor the Campbell County High School Band which has had an “outstanding competition season.

Up for vote at next week’s meeting is the designation of MBI as architectural design company for the transfer station rebuild. A Department of Health grant will be voted on, as will Commissioner Charles Baird’s appointment to the Planning commission to replace Sue Nance.

Commissioner Beverly Hall will be carrying a motion regarding funds for the Campbell County Senior Center from the county’s AARPA money, as well as the proclamation for the CCHS band.
