Cleveland “Chubby” Shoupes Jr., age 49, of LaFollette went to be with the Lord on Monday, September 16, 2024. He was a member of Grace Age Fellowship.  Preceded in death by Parents: Cleveland Sr. and Shirley Shoupes, Grandparents: James and Evelyn Shoupes, Bethel and Walter Walden.

Daughter: Jessica Shoupes, Chasity Slayback

Son: Steven Shoupes, David Slayback, Chris Slayback

Grandchildren: Isiah Shoupes, Anna Shoupes, Brightly Shoupes, Don’te Shoupes Jr., Elaine Shoupes, Braden Shoupes, Little Terry Shoupes, Aliyah Slayback, Nancy Slayback, Jordan Slayback, Taylee Hatfield

Brother: Terry Lee Shoupes

Sisters: Tracey Moore, Amanda Steakley

Cousin: Priscilla Robbins

A host of other friends and relatives.

Family will receive friends Monday, September 23, from 12:00 to 2:00 PM at Cross-Smith Funeral Home with a funeral service to follow at 2:00 PM. Officiated by Rev. Wade Walls. Family and friends will then proceed to Peabody cemetery for a graveside and interment service.
