Clarence Ward age 82, of LaFollette was reunited with his loving wife and entered into presence of his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Tuesday, December 3, 2024 at his earthly residence surrounded by his loving family. He was born March 17, 1942 in Caryville to the late Roba and Maudie McGhee Ward. Clarence went to Round Rock Baptist Church where he was a faithful member. He enjoyed being in the mountains on his fourwheeler and going to Hembree’s for a bologna sandwich. Clarence loved going hunting, camping and spending time with his family and friends.
In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his wife, Marie Ward; his grandson, Nathanael Seiber; his brothers Ernest and Ralph Ward; his sisters, Trula Kirby and Pauline Green.
Clarence is survived by his son, William Matthew Ward and wife, Rebecca of Caryville; daughters, Cheryl Lynn Seiber and husband, Rodney of Lake City, Karlene Denise Bullock and husband, Anthony of Caryville, Rebecca Ann Miracle and husband, Stephen of LaFollette, and Jennifer Rose Partin and husband, Jeff Partin of LaFollette; his sisters Nadine Byrge and husband Bobby of LaFollette and Evadean Daugherty of Caryville; nine grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren and one great great grandchild; several nieces and npehews and a host of other relatives and friends.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to Amedisys Hospice and his nurse Megan Mears for their loving care and kindness.
Visitation for Clarence will be on Sunday December 8th, 2024 in the chapel of Martin Wilson Funeral Home from 5:00 to 7:00 PM with his funeral service to follow at 7:00 PM with Rev. Johnny Vanover and Rev. C.W. Fraker officiating. Family and friends will meet at 11:15 AM on Monday December 9th at the funeral home to go in funeral procession to Campbell Memorial Gardens for a 12:00 noon interment.
