There’s still time to get a backpack of school supplies at the sheriff’s office

JACKSBORO, TN (SPECIAL TO WLAF)- “I’d like to give a huge thank you to everyone who donated for us to be able to give-a-way school supplies, and to the deputies who helped make it another successful school supply event,” said Sheriff Wayne Barton.

Even though hundreds of backpacks full of school supplies were handed out on Thursday on the north and south sides of Campbell County, there are still a few backpacks left. “If you weren’t able to make it out, feel free to stop by the sheriff’s office and pick one up while supplies last,” said Barton.

Jellico High is where school supplies were handed out on Thursday afternoon.
