LAFOLLETTE, TN (WLAF) – The call of a clothes dryer on fire came in to Central Dispatch at 6:29 Friday morning.

The fire at a Saw Mill Circle home prompted the Campbell County Rural Fire Service to respond. Not long after arriving on the scene, mutual aid from the La Follette Fire Department was requested.

Both agencies teamed to save the home and keep damage from becoming more than minor. Not long before 7am, the fire was extinguished.
