NASHVILLE, TN (SPECIAL TO WLAF)- On Tuesday, students from Campbell and Jellico High Schools attended the SCOPE Conference at Belmont University. SCOPE, Student Congress on Policies in Education, is an annual event hosted by the Tennessee School Board Association (TSBA).

CCHS was represented by Mekhi Gibson and Jonah Smith. Chloe Creekmore and Jodee Spradlin-Snyder attended from Jellico High School. 

This is a yearly event where students from across the state gather to debate topics that are of interest as it relates to education. Students are assigned groups and go through a mock school board meeting where topics are discussed.
