JACKSBORO, TN (WLAF) – On Friday , Campbell High’s John Brown Gym hosted Reagan Rutherford’s signing to cheer for East Tennessee State University.Â

Josh Parker began the event by congratulating Rutherford, wishing her the best at ETSU.Â
Reagan Rutherford’s cheer coach at CCHS, Bre Price, also wished Rutherford well; saying that “there aren’t enough adjectives†to describe how great of a cheerleader that Reagan was at Campbell High.
Rutherford has been cheering “for as long as she can rememberâ€, starting in early elementary school. She wanted to thank her family, as well as former cheer coaches Beverly Huddleston, Amy Long, Bre Price, and Kaylee Welch for their help and support along her cheerleading journey.
While at ETSU, Rutherford plans to study dental hygiene. She chose East Tennessee State University for its dental hygiene program, as well as the proximity to home and knowing fellow cheerleaders, such as Sophia Fritts, and other friends who attend the university.
Reagan said that she is going to miss spending Friday nights on The Hill but is excited about the opportunity to compete in the national cheerleading competition in Orlando while in college. (WLAF NEWS PUBLISHED – 04/29/2024-6AM)
