CCHS Marching Band took 2nd place at the Karns Marching Invitational on Saturday performing “A Pirate’s Adventure.”

KNOXVILLE, TN (WLAF)- The Campbell County High School Marching Cougars competed at the Karns Marching Invitational on Saturday, September 27, earning 1st place color guard, 2nd place band and 2nd place percussion. Drum majors were not judged at this competition. 

Six bands were in the class 2A competition at the Karns Marching Invitational. 

Campbell county High School Assistant Band Director Tiffany Braden said she couldn’t be prouder of the work and dedication the students have put into the performance and improvements. 

CCHS Marching Band Color guard earned a first place win at Karns Marching Invitational on Saturday.

“We were super excited have our second competition of the season! I’m so proud to see how far these students have come since July. They push themselves to be better every day and I’m privileged to work with such amazing youth. We are looking forward to performing at Tennessee High School’s Music in the Castle competition next week!”
