CC Finance soliciting bids for storage building

JACKSBORO, TN. (WLAF)- The Campbell County Department of Finance is hereby soliciting bids for a 50’ x 70’ Storage Building.

INVITATION TO BID

The Campbell County Department of Finance is hereby soliciting bids for a 50’ x 70’ Storage Building with the following specifications:

• Dig footings (50’ x 70’) (12”min. thickness)
• Supply and install all necessary footing steel
• Pour and finish concrete footings (3000 psi) (12’ min. thickness)
• Form and create 12” thick exterior concrete walls to specs (height varies) (4000 psi)
• Install all necessary steel for concrete walls
• Fill and compact concrete walls to grade to accommodate 50’ x 70’ slab (#57 stone)
• Form 50’ x 70’ x 6” concrete slab
• Supply and install all necessary steel for slab
• Pour and slick finish 50’ x 70’ x 6” concrete slab (4000 psi)
• All footings, walls and concrete slabs should have steel rebar “tied” to provide connections between all sections

Sealed bids are due no later than 2:00 p.m. on April 30, 2026 at the Campbell County Department of Finance, at which time they will be opened and read aloud. Bid quotes must be inclusive of all delivery and handling charges.  Bids must be effective for 90 days after bid opening.

Each bid must be accompanied by a Bid Security in the form of a Cashiers Check or a Bidders Bond, executed by the bidder and a surety company in the sum of not less than five percent (5%) of the total amount of the bid including all additive alternates, as a guarantee that, if the bid is accepted, the required contract will be executed and the required performance and payment bonds furnished.

All bidders must be licensed contractors as required by the contractors Licensing Act of 1976, enacted by the General Assembly of the State of Tennessee on March 18, 1976 and as amended to date as codified by Tennessee Code Annotated (TCA) Sections §62-6-119.

A Mandatory Prebid Conference will be held April 23, 2026, 10:00 am, local time at the Campbell County Department of Finance office, 555 Main Street, Jacksboro, TN  37757.
